As we mentioned above, it’s been over 85 years since we first planted our roots in Nashville and began serving the Middle Tennessee area. We originally started as Horrell Refrigeration in 1939, before Bob Maynard purchased the company in 1971. Over the decades, we expanded by acquiring several other companies, growing our capabilities along with our customer base. These additions allowed us to broaden our offerings and meet the evolving needs of homeowners and businesses alike. With every step forward, we’ve stayed focused on quality, professionalism, and service that truly makes a difference.

In 2001, we became known as Maynard Select—a name that marked a new era of growth and expanded services. Today, you’ll find us as Maynard Heating & Cooling, proudly serving as the go-to team for residential and commercial services throughout the region. Our journey from a small refrigeration company to a full-service home comfort provider reflects our commitment to adapting and growing with our community.
